My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. The rooms were clean and provided a refuge from the elements, but unfortunately, the hot tub area was very disappointing with a strong stale smoke smell lingering. The staff was friendly, although some were not as attentive as expected, one was even seen hanging out with their boyfriend. The location was convenient for the New Ulm Event Center, perfect for pet owners, but the experience in the Microtel queen suites lacked charm. The dining options had some choices, but the absence of coffee and juice due to water issues was a letdown.
